Agriculture school on wheels (S.O.W.), a unique initiative of its kind founded by Deepak Mendiratta. The initiative is aimed to transcend the prowess of novel agricultural techniques among farming community. SOW, in fact works like out-sourcing agency for different organizations-be it government, NGOs or farmers themselves.
The knowledge transfer is done through mobile training services. The training program is conducted in big training bus with well-carpeted floor, well – equipped with all facilities, viz., projector, laptop, digital screen, cooler, generator, inverter, packages and practices of different crops, hand-outs, a panel of experts for the execution of a successful training program.
Having liaison with government agencies like ATMA or other NGOs, it rolls on wheels as per demand from city to reach out the farmers at their door steps in remote villages. 50 farmers are easily accommodated inside the bus for each training session of maximum 4 hours. SOW training charges are flexible as it depends on different factors, say, total distance covered, number of beneficiaries, number of hand-outs, refreshments, inputs provided to farmers, if any. We reach out the venue sharp on time as per the given schedule.
